Last minute changes in the program that were late to be included in
the manual or help files:
dsTune:
------
-To get the best results with a guitar and a microphone, try moving
the microphone. Often a small change in it's position can improve
it's reception considerably. Try touching the wood of the guitar
next to the bridge with the microphone, this can work as well.
dsChordFinder:
-------------
-no changes
Revision history:
dsTune:
-----
Since version 1.00:
-The Automatic String Selection option is now off on startup.
-When there is no TUNE.INI file present the program will present
calibrating options.
!-You can now tune to any tuning. Choose the 'Custom...' option
in the 'Tuning' menu. Using the scrollbars you can enter any
tuning.
Since version 1.01/1.02:
-Added Volume and Signal indication.
!-Automatic +1 Octave detection. It is no longer necessary to set
the +1 Octave checkbox for some strings. Tune will select the
strongest frequency, regardless of whether it is the fundamental
frequency or the second harmonic (first overtone). In normal
terms this means that you can forget about it, the program takes
care of everything.
!-Fast tune option improved, now hardly decreases precision, while
reaction to frequency changes is twice as fast.
Since version 2.0:
-Name changed from Tune to dsTune.
!-dsTune is distributed as shareware.
!-New 32 bits Windows 95 version
dsChordFinder
-----------
Since version 1.00:
-The program now automatically selects two cells when a peak is
located at the edge of a cell. In this way the program finds more
chords.
Since version 1.01/1.02:
!!-Frequency detection for the higher frequencies has improved
dramatically.
Since version 2.0:
-Name changed from ChordFinder to dsChordFinder.
!-dsChordFinder is distributed as shareware.
!-New 32 bits Windows 95 version
